If you say "the dress is white and gold" you're wrong. If you say "I see white and gold" you're right.

Examine the pixels in a paint program. They are tan and pale blue, which is what I see on my calibrated monitor. (Be sure to save it to disk as opposed to copy and paste, which in Firefox, at least, avoids the color management Firefox may apply. It can make a small difference, but it's not going to be responsible for this black/blue nonsense. I was actually hoping it would be a color management trick, but now I think the whole Internet is trolling itself. )

The craziest part of my dress night was when I saw it as black and white, I copied the pic into paint, selected a part of the dress in each shade, copied it into a blank space, and I saw the white or gold. When I saw it as black and blue, I did the same in as close to the same spot as possible, and I saw the black or blue.

Eta: reading that wired link, it is kitting short of amazing how quickly this spread. They have quotes from doctors and other experts from across the world. Wtf?
