I don't care either way, but what's the argument FOR a golf course? Since I don't play golf, they seem like a waste of space to me, but I'm not going to go cry if unused land gets turned into one either. It's not like they're tearing down Storyland or the museum to build it.

Also, it was a golf course before...

Just a couple off the top of my head...
1. Bring in a substantial amount of revenue to City Park (estimate over $1,000,000 per year)
2. Redeveloping a course that has been there since around 1900. Always good to see things rebuilt after Katrina.
3. Very few courses in Nola
4. Potentially bring a PGA tournament to City Park, which would be huge
5. Turn the now blighted, run down area into something nice.
6. Would create new jobs
7. Tourism is kinda a big deal in Nola and this would most certainly be a good thing for tourism.
8. City Park isn't making money by having hippies use up the space trying to "restore themselves".
9. Would be great for property values around City Park
Okay now your turn to list some negatives.
