And as above I don't worry about organic or not. I just try to buy as much local as I can both vegetables and protein. We grow a garden and can, we have bee hives with honey, close buy yard chickens and eggs, grass fed beef by our farm. We still buy plenty at the stores but just try to get those items fresh and as close to home as possible. Not always but we do make an effort. I'm a label reader from way back.
