Saw the one north of I10/310 flying and land in the dead tree about 50/100 yards from the dead tree that has the nest. Nest is out in the open marsh/prairie grass.

My office is on the intercoastal right by the houma/dularge bridge. Bayou black is just behind me. We see at least one a day. They are constantly swooping down to pick up the fish that the tugs push up or the mice/rabbits in the fields
