It looks like there is a new nest around the I-10/310 interchange. The one that has been there for years is still there, but there is another nest on the edge of the treeline (farthest from 310). It's quite a bit farther from I-10, so I haven't been able to verify if it's an eagle nest, but it's really large. The only other bird that I've seen build one that large is an osprey.

I saw that one this weekend. I also saw one on the north side of the interstate a couple of miles west of those in a tree out in the open.

it is i saw 2 birds flying towards it with one in the tree next to it a few weekends ago.
