My son has been wanting to attend MPA. How serious is this camp as far as scouts go? Know it's top notch instruction but don't know how serious it is when it comes to offers

This camp is more about a great experience for the kids, not about getting offers. This will be my son's 3rd year to go. I did not go last year to watch but my buddy said there were a lot of kids there that had no business attending.

I went some years ago, so not sure if it has changed since then, but sounds like it might have.

To be honest, your experience will depend on your main 2 coaches of your group - if they are good and want to help, great. Generally the coaches (college QBs or former) are well known.

I don't remember us throwing that much, which I know is shocking for a QB camp.

The only thing I actually remember, football learning related, was when Peyton came over to our group and was showing and talking about things our coaches didn't.

I went 15 years ago which is a long time to compare my take on the camp. But then it was a very good camp with great instruction. I learned more in a couple days there then my entire year under normal high school coaching. Payton was very active in our group it seemed and actually showed me how to break down film. I'll always have respect for someone of his caliber taking the time to help a average high school athlete out. And yes we thew the hell out the ball...my arm was jello afterwards.
