We buy reliable vehicles - used from online ads. we still expect some negotiating room to feel like we got a deal. we expect that it's still there if we call in advance and say we are coming to see it. we like a little time to go home and discuss. we really like low pressure and solutions for trade ins. the people at acura on airline in baton rouge delivered.

Even as it is I have bought two cars that I had never seen or driven before. And they were even used. I paid a mechanic to go inspect them where they were located before purchasing. One, a minivan, was then driven to my house by the out of state dealership. The other, my truck, I picked up by flying to Houston then driving it home.
As for option and features - I research all that ahead of time. I know what I want before I start the purchase process down to the color and option package. And I can read owner's manuals later.
Again, salesmen aren't necessary. They are just there to make you feel better about the mark up and commission you're paying.
