I don't think any of this matters. Guys has a Superbowl ring, he doesn't need to chase that anymore. What he needs is to squeeze as much money as he can out of whatever years he has left (which ain't much). That is literally the opposite of what we are looking to do... hire older expensive vets with partially empty tanks looking to maximize their final years of earning potential.

IMO, Bush was underrated as a Saint. Yes, he had some struggles early on. But look at all the playoff games during the SB run. If he wasn't returning punts for TD's or breaking ankles on long runs, he was incredibly valuable in the passing game. Both in terms of production and as a decoy.

Watching his last couple seasons with the Lions, he still has that capability to be a big part of our game plan, even as a 3rd down back. His only downfall is staying healthy, unfortuanlety. Would still take him if the price is right.
