i don't know if she is entitled, but i do know she has spent the past 4 weeks in class by playing on facebook and snapchat instead of taking notes.

and again, she was setting this up 4 weeks ago. she asked me how i did on the first exam, ensuring that I took decent notes, spoke to me a few more times just to keep me on the hook, all while she played around during class - and sure enough, today she asked me for the notes.

I'm not punishing her, she punished herself when she tried to take the easy way out with this little ploy.

I just think that you not giving her the notes or waiting until midnight the day before isn't you winning at all. You could actually make a friend or help the girl out by showing her where she went wrong, instead you decide to be passive aggressive. I just don't agree with your decisions thus far.
