Just to be clear, this offer is for both paid subscribers and users of the free Google Music service. Paid subscribers gain access to millions of songs for streaming and radio, while free Music users are limited to songs that they themselves must upload to the cloud. But still, free storage for 50,000 songs is quite impressive.

that seems pretty pointless for 99% of people.

They need to add more songs.

Will Google remove or close your account if what you store is ripped from CD.s or acquired from torrents?
