Missouri's Black Suspension Rate
Please pay attention to the 2nd quoted paragraph. The article states that St. Louis schools, particularly inner St. Louis, Normandy, and Riverview Gardens suspended black children at the highest rate in the state of Missouri. The Center for Civil Rights Remedies concluded that Missouri is the most racist state in terms of bias against black school children.
Yet, the article didn't mention that those three schools have a majority black attendance with a majority black administration.
Hmmmmm....

More than 14 percent of black elementary students were suspended at least once in Missouri during the 2011-2012 school year, compared to 7.6 percent of black students nationwide.
Meanwhile, Missouri’s suspension rate for white elementary students mirrored the national percentage of 1.6, according to the report by the Center for Civil Rights Remedies at The Civil Rights Project at UCLA.

St. Louis suspended 29.1 percent of its black elementary students at least once in 2011-2012, followed by Normandy at 21.7 and Riverview Gardens at 21.4. Kansas City also suspended more than 20 percent of its black students.

“It’s emblematic of problems (in the communities) and indicators of racial bias,” he said. He noted that many districts in Missouri did not have high suspension rates, but the biggest concerns were shown in districts that have high concentrations of black students and poor students.

I'm white as the driven snow and was suspended from school a couple times. I certainly deserved it though and didn't blame it on anything besides my own actions.

Isn't that the area where a federal judge mandated a ridiculous amount of spending per student in the 90's?
Glad to see it's well spent.

In 20 years blacks will be governed by a different set of laws with lower standards, mark my words.
For example, armed robbery may result in probation and community rehabilitation for blacks. This may seem outlandish now but we've been heading down this road for years.

St Louis keeping it real from cradle to grave boy
Amazing that people make a living trying to analyze this stuff while being incapable of seeing the basic truths of the situation.

They probably also disproportionately suspend more fatherless kids. Where's the outrage against that bias? How about more outrage against fathers not loving and raising their kids?

The people we saw out rioting were their parents. Surprised it's not 50%.

They are suspended at a higher rate than everyone. Most of it has nothing to do with the color of their skin.

Here's how you get to the root of this problem.
Disregard race and focus on the home life of suspended students.
There lies your answer.
The reason we don't do that is just another byproduct of why black America is where black America is.
It's not how kids are raised, it's bc they are black.
It's not bc they cause more trouble than whites it's bc they are black and they are targeted.
It's not bc they actually committ more crimes they are jail more, it's bc they are black, targeted and underprivileged.
Total disregard for personal responsibility.
fricking sick of it. The day can't come soon enough when America moves on from feeling sorry for blacks.
Gay people come on down! Youre next, it's your turn.

A significant percentage of the teachers, principals and administrators at a significant number of the schools in Missouri are African-American.
So this may be to some degree a black-on-black issue?

Maybe they should stop doing things to be suspended...
