Have the "Harden will be a bust as a starter" people come back to eat crow?

Just wondering.

This board was filled with Rockets haters and Harden haters the last couple years--experts who declared James Harden would be a bust when thrust into the role as "the man" on the Rockets.

Have they been back to apologize and eat crow yet?

Most of them now make fun of the Thunder for making a horrible trade.

This thread won't go well.

I ate that crow two years ago. Even though I didn't specifically say he would be a bust as a starter, I was on the fence about him. Guy is a hell of a player and has surpassed my expectations. I love watching him play.

Yea, I'd say everyone has acknowledged Harden is a superstar.

People predict dumb things a lot. If you made a thread for every widely-held opinion that later turned out to be incorrect, you'd need another board.

I don't rememver anyone saying he "wouldn't work out as a starter". Nice try tho.

I know you Rocket fans have the need to win something, because the Rockets are still a 2nd round out this year, but you can't win this as a out of left field debate.

Why you so mad about this anyhow?

And Rocket tards thinking they'd win multiple championships. Make it out of the 1st round first?

It's almost like this thread got stuck in cyberspace for like two years, then finally went through.

Let him win a title first before you crown him.

I didn't say he would be a bust as a starter, but I did say he was overrated. So I'm eating a small helping of crow.

Why don't people wait until he does something like not choking in the playoffs before anointing the guy anything.

He's a great player, but he's not better than Durant or Westbrook. Also, he didn't fit what that team needed money-wise as far as spreading their cap space around without hitting the tax threshold.

I love how the were in the Finals three years ago, and outside of injuries that have derailed their seasons the past 3 now suck.
