Not true. He was there to make things as fixed as possible. The only things he had available to do that were his Acura, his experience, his quick-firing, problem-solving brain and money. He probably gave Jimmy 20x what they were worth, in appreciation of Jimmy's willingness to help out the other Wallace employees.

If you could sell everything in your house, with the stipulation that it had to be 100%, for just 2x what it was worth, you'd probably do it with only a little hesitation for various things' sentimental value. Imagine 10x or 20x - you'd help the buyer load up.
