Would replays for penalties make sense though? Seems like a slippery slope for judgement calls but might be good if the ref misses something incredibly obvious.
For stuff like offsides I have no idea why they wouldn't use replay from a booth and then just have them radio down the call.

I've never really bought the judgment call argument. We can make better judgements after seeing replays. Think of all of the straight forward calls officials miss live in all sports. But for some reason "judgement" calls should only be made live.
