There's more to choosing a place to live than the scenery; three reasons I would not want to live in Vermont:
-Their "Fair Share" Law forces non-union employees to pay union dues.
-They have among the highest corporate, individual, and property taxes in the nation.
-Self-described SOcialist Bernie Sanders was elected with 71% of the vote. Imagine living, working, and dealing with these loons on a daily basis.
Some people may say political differences should not be a reason to live or not live in a state but it's more than that- sure they have great landmarks and scenery, which is great because taking in the sights is free and you won't have a great deal of money left to spend on other entertainment once their taxes have ravaged your check. I simply would not be able to live in a state where nearly 75% of the population consists of liberal sheep.

You sound like a blast.
You do know that Vermont is among the top states in the country for education? Let me guess...they are all liberal 'sheep?'
