California
West coast in general is bad. But I can't take the average California resident.
I resemble that remark...I live in a small strong hole of Republicans here in Redlands. California is great, I just wish the duck hunting was better.

I'll say this as so wine who moved to California 3 years ago and was VERY skeptical about the move. Really thought I would hate it here, had a similarly negative view of CA and the west coast.
But, this place is fricking awesome. Yes, the state has it's problems and is the poster child for a ton of failed liberal policies.
But there is so much to do. So much natural beauty. Hell if I want to this weekend, I can choose between hiking in the moutains, hiking in the desert, going to the beach or snow skiing. And I can do all of that in less than 2 hours from my front door.
So trust me, for all of its problems CA is NOT a bad place to live.
This-I've been here since 1985. My wife and I raised 2 boys here and they are both doing great attending US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. We have loved it, the people are good, schools here are good, good churches, the hiking, beach, skiing, etc. fantastic.
