Before they had boot ones stocking feet were all that were available. We used to wear cheap walmart base ball cleats 2 sizes too big over them. Yes the cleats get wet but your feet are insulated in the neopreme stocking bone dry.
Nonetheless, forget stocking feet. You want the booted waders.
