What do you think of this:
quote:

Also, was anyone else as upset as I was that they let you see Hyrule and didnt let you do shite in it? I was so amped up when i went out the castle. I wanted a glass of Lon Lon Milk, I wanted to see Epona, I wanted to ditch my wind waker for my ocarina. It really to me just hammered hom how perfect of a game OoT was and how far from it WW is.

and this:

quote:

When i was a kid Zelda was all about finding things out and figuring things out and solving puzzles and getting through dungeons and spending time and strategy figuring out how to beat bosses, etc.... WW was a solid game, but it just seemed to lack anything that made it great to me. It seemed to just guide you through universe and show you everything you had to do instead of letting you figure it out on your own, if that makes sense.

The universe in OoT, released in 1998, on n64, on a 256 megabit (32 megabyte) cartilage felt like it had a larger universe, more to do, more characters, and better graphics than the Wii U game. That just boggles my mind with how absolutely fantastic of a game OoT is. There's a reason it's possibly the greatest game ever made.

I agree for sure than hand holding has become an issue for them. They seem to Acknowledge that now and want to open it up more. We'll see.
