It all depends on what type of tumor it is. Bad news is that with a sudden onset and at his age, the most common type is glioblastoma. But it's all speculation until a diagnosis is made.

Those are bad, and a virtual death sentence. Definitely too many variables to say just what the prognosis is without knowing what TigerRag said above.
