Loved it. Didn't think the Russians came off as cocky.
Never knew Fetislov's story of trying to play in the NHL and the miles of political bullshite he had to trek through to make his dream a reality. Gained massive respect for him.

That was a little misleading. Fetisov was not the first Soviet player to sign with the NHL and he wasn't exactly alone in agitating to be able to play in the NHL. When the Soviets finally relented, it was for the entire "Green Unit" including stars Larionov and Makarov. He wasn't fighting on his own, though he was a key figure.
