My little sister had a pet rabbit in college- litter box trained like a cat and ran around her apartment. This guy comes over to pick her up for a blind date and as the rabbit is running around their feet he accidentally steps on it and breaks it's neck, killing it instantly. She's sobbing on the phone with my mom minutes later and the dude snuck out and never called again.
