Bc one person said he was a draft risk and dumb people ran with it. Hell one guy in this thread gave him a second round grade based on 4 innings his sophomore year
If he wanted to be drafted he would be trying to be seen as much as possible and he is not on the team. That should tell people all they need to know about what sport he wants to play.

From this thread, I've learned that Franks is somewhere between instant MLB star and not being able to make my son's little league team.
Good talk.

I didn't say he was a 2nd rounder right now. He can certainly work his way up to that.
According to Next Level Baseball, he is up to 92 and will be attending a few show cases. He is incredibly raw, so the dumbasses comparing him to Zach Lee are completely off base.
About the 4 inning his sophomore year, pro scouts couldn't give a shite. They care about potential. 6'6 210 frame means he can add 20-30 pounds and some serious velocity IF (and that's a big if) he can consistently be around 91-92. He will have to play travel ball or for his HS team though. His stock can certainly rise to 2-5 round, but a team would have to have full confidence he is turning down college. If Franks says he is going to college no matter what, then he is either drafted late (38-40th round) if at all.
That's just how the MLB draft works. THe scouts don't give a shite how much he has thrown in HS. Plus, they figure since his arm doesn't have much mileage on it they can mold him and he is a lower injury risk. In order for his stock to rise though, Franks has to play.
