I have to say, tonight made me appreciate Chris Farley's place in SNL history a lot more, and in my thread from a few weeks ago, I think I'd replace Tracy Morgan with him in my all star line up. The guy was great and perfect, and very memorable. He was more than just a fat bastard, he was an artist and an original, and he has been missed. It just makes me sad that people like Kevin James just think that his humor is totally dependent on him being fat, when it wasn't. Farley's hilarity is from his energy and passion, and James really has none of that. Kevin James is just fat and falls down without any of the heart, and thus he sucks.

I know an assload of fat comedians and none come to mind that were as funny as CF.

Kevin James was quite the stand-up comedian. Now he gets paid to do nothing. Can't blame him for that. And I know for a fact that he is very charitable and an all-around good guy.

I have to agree with this. Tonight proved to me...you can't just have a morbidly obese person up on stage ranting and raving and breaking tables and it automatically be hysterical. Melissa McCarthy's rendition of Matt Foley did nothing for me. Farley had that extra gear that put his sketches over the top.
