I'm pretty sure that it doesn't matter what band gets named in a thread like this. Someone will be quick to come on and defend them. Music is a matter of personal taste so there can't be any right or wrong answers. That said, I am not sure how anyone could call "The Reflex" anything other than crap.

I was being tongue-in-cheek with U2, but Rush is seriously fricking terrible. Maybe not Nickelback terrible, but really fricking terrible all the same. All those god dam synthesizers and Geddy Lee's voice is just fricking embarrassing.

it's funny how moronic little kids that don't know their azz from a hole in the ground, rip on classic music they aren't capable of understanding.
it does explain why sh*t like jersey shore and shakira are popular, because children are pretty much all stupid.
as for the op's question, here is a "band" ( I use the term loosely) that is unquestionably worse than Nickelback:
