Just got out and enjoyed this movie. A lot of homages to other movies like Bond and V for Vendetta. I liked Sam's character. It gave it that little bit of comedy to keep it not a serious movie. The church scene was on point though.

This movie was hot garbage. I cannot believe so many here actually liked it. The amount of graphic violence was not only absurd but totally pointless. The movie couldn't decide if it wanted to be an actual gentleman spy movie or a spoof of one, and missed horribly on both counts.
Colin Firth was decent, but the other stars simply mailed it in. Michael Cain's acting was atrocious.
