No. I think you're taking this a little too far.
My impression is that only the ending fantasy is the "script" that Kenny was writing.
Everything else happened. The actual ending is Kenny is home with his family, and where it goes from there is up to you.

This. One of the best series finales ever. The whole final season was incredible.
