Any suggestions? BR, Nola, or Lafayette?

I have considered the Insectarium, aquarium, and Audubon zoo.

My GF's daughter went to Angola and they thought that was cool. 11 years old.

New Orleans: NOLA Zoo, Aquarium, Congo Square, World War II Museum, cemeteries, Saints Hall of Fame, Mardi Gras World, City Park, Chalmette Battlefield

In between: a million plantation houses, African American Art Museum (Donaldsonville), Lamar Dixon Expo Center (for a rodeo or trade show) (Gonzales), Zapp's Potato Chip Factory (Gramercy)

more interesting than boring museums. hated every museum i went to as a kid. kids want to be outside.

Any of the plantation tours are a good idea. I thought that was a great field trip when I was a young pup.
