Dwight and Pam couldn't have been any other actor. Jim was great but Adam Scott could have done it well. Bob Odinkirk would have been okay too but yeah, he's not as lovable.

Now that it's mentioned I feel like he basically plays a more nerdy Jim on Parks and Rec anyways

It's funny watching Krasinski in real life interviews. Basically he is Jim. What you see on the show is pretty much how he is. Awkward and sarcastic.
