You are correct. And thank you for posting this. Their line up has always changed, but Wolverine and Spider were added over 30 years after the Avengers creation in order to boost sales. Some think that Wolverine was an intricate part of the Avengers. Uhh no. X-Men yea. Spider-Man, uh no. He's traditional role in the comics is that he's a loner.

Wolverine's stint with the Avengers has been solid though. At least as good as his vs. Cyclops stuff. or his pseudo Prof. X role.
