Spent part of the evening listening to a lot of his stuff again. He was unbelievable. I didn't know about him when he was alive and after his death, heard "Hallelujah" like everyone else. That is a great song, but his voice is what makes it.

Then, you listen to the rest of his stuff like "Lilac Wine" and "So Real" and you realize what an amazing talent he was. Died way too early, obviously.

Maybe he has been talked about here before, but what were your thoughts on him?

James Franco should have played him in a bio pic, by the way. I know that has been said before too.

I'm a huge fan. Great vocalist and songwriter. "Lover, you should have come over" is one of my favorite songs of all-time.

Not sure if he would have ever produced another album as awesome as Grace, but there's no doubt he had plenty of great music left in him when he passed.
