How often did you change the oil?... You can be honest, we're all friends here. I've seen a few Rangers have clogged up oil pickups at low mileage. It could be starving for oil until it heats up and the oil flows better. Just a thought. I've had to drop the pan on 2 rangers for this in my time.,,

Not as often as I should.
Yes, it is possible that the oil pick-up tube could be stopped up a little. Will drop the pan and look at it.
