I have no faith in the wine scene in Shreveport, particularly on restaurant menus there. Always been pretty weak, But the beer scene seems pretty real. That's why I mentioned it to begin with. Thanks for the heads up.

I second most of the other recommendations too
Been to oyster bar a few times and it's always pretty solid
2 Johns is my go-to for "special" dinners
I wasn't huge on Frank's at first but I know several who swear by it. It's a cool pizza place.
If you are randomly in the mood for Chinese, hit Imperial Cathay. It's an actual restraint not bullshite takeout
