Somebody is butt hurt because they didn't get that job they were looking for.

When I was in the biotech industry, I knew several excellent recruiters in that industry. I would politely listen, and if the job wasn't for me, I would always send them a good candidate who could get and want the job they were placing for.

When one of my referrals would be placed, I would get a phone call from the recruiter thanking me for the referral. I would always tell them they could thank me by keeping me in mind for that perfect job and they knew what I was looking for.

A good recruiter is worth their weight in gold.

Trust me, you're thinking about this all wrong.

Y'all got it backwards. Anybody can hire the wrong person.

Good recruiters are extremely important to companies that value talented employees. Find me a successful company and there are successful people in that organization. Good recruiters find those people.
