No. It may or may not affect the face of the brick, depending on what kind it is. Ask your brick supplier. If muriatic is not recommend they will tell you what to use. Likely Sure Klean or Vanatrol. And acid washing is part of the brick layer's job. It's not your job. Make them do it.

Heres the thing.
When we told him we want the whole thing cleaned because it is too white, he was 3/4 done with the last side of the house.
So for the final 1/4 (the upper right fourth) he did not do the sack finish.
He insisted that when he cleans the other 3/4, the whole wall will be the exact same color.
I am worried that the upper 1/4 that is not currently sacked finished will look different from the other 3/4 of the wall that he will be cleaning.
Any thoughts?
