From a talent standpoint I think you take him, they need a QB. But it is a potentially a big PR problem, Gator fans make up a huge portion of the fanbase. Not sure how they would react. Usually isn't a big deal, but Winston is obviously a much more controversial figure.

All that matters to the fans will be wins and losses. If he fricks up and causes them to lose, he will be crucified. But if he wins who cares what school he went too.

How many crossover fans are there that go to both college and NFL games?
I've run into tons of people that are big NFL fans that don't follow college at all-primarily because they never went to college.
