the steve krentz learn and master guitar from gibson is very good if you want something to do at home

I've been following his course for about a month and I can easily play the A,D and E major chords ( the first he teaches) and can change between chirds fairly easy.
It's just when I try to play along to his beginner songs, they don't sound right.
I think my timing/strumming must be off.
I practice every night for about 2 hours.
