Bank Fishing in Toledo Bend

Is there any decent (or good) spots to fish from the bank in Toledo Bend? I'm thinking about making a weekend trip at the end of this month, but don't want to spend all day searching for somewhere to fish. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Before our buddy built a lake house on TB, our families used to spend every Easter there and we stayed at the cabins at Bridge Bay right on the LA side of Pendleton Bridge. We kept our boats at the boathouse and one morning while we were loading the boats the kids just started fishing in the boathouse and the bank on each side. We ended up catching an ice chest full of sac's without ever cranking the boats. We visit that spot each year and sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not. You can fish the bank under the bridge as well. good luck

I know at North toledo Bend State Park they have canoes and little boats you can rent and fish out of. And that pocket holds a lot of fish, but then again they all do

Yeah, I was going to suggest knee boots at least. Toledo has some very accessible spots. Heck, most Marina's own good chunks of lake front and if you just started walking the banks fishing no one will say a thing to you.
