ones i'm thinking of attending:
22nd Cajun April 30 St. Francisville, La
27th Palo Duro May 14 Amarillo, Tx
28th Ouray September 3 Ouray, Co
2nd Ozark October 1 Ozark, Ar
26th Ouachita October 15 Hot springs, Ar
17th Moab October 22 Moab, Utah
seems all the summer events are in the north. obviously i can't make all the ones in October. i always like to go with an experienced group the first time i go somewhere new.
my experience is limited to central and east texas trails and not of the park or dedicated kind so going with a group of people i don't know is a new experience.

While I'm not a fan of most of the people, La4x4 is the most organized group in the state.
