Good for them... sadly it doesn't prevent a state from taking away funds from a municipality if they want to stop it

What it also does is allow Google a ton more room to operate nationwide now. Whether the city can build out or whether Google does, that's their signal to start the race.

Last mile owners are either going to start sprinting with the boys from Mountain View or get left behind...
