Why is a daily or weekly thread needed?

If a daily thread is needed then it sounds as though a workout/fitness board would be each poster describing his daily routine.

why is a "daily/weekly teacher sleeping with student thread" needed. Because God knows they are on the ot each day.

so fred, basically i need some clarification..we can no longer have workout threads on the OT? To answer your question, It is needed because we ask each other questions about our diets, workouts, suppliments, etc in one thread without bombarding the ot with 10 separate threads each day. Its one thread dedicted to our own health and fitness. There has been a ton of useful information in each one that helps different people. It just doesnt seem like it hurts the OT to have the thread. Its better than multiple threads each time someone has a question or opinion on a particular workout or suppliment.

Link to those threads?

Link to where it is said no workout threads period.

There are a number of threads already on the OT about supplements and work outs. No one says it can't be discussed in those threads.

Every clique on the site doesn't need there own daily/weekly thread.

It has been said numerous times that there are a few approved IM threads daily. Those threads are used to keep other threads from being derailed.

If each one is a separate incident and the threads aren't repeating, I don't see why posting the teacher threads are a problem. They're news related threads.

Stop focusing on everything else that you think is wrong with the OT to make workout threads acceptable. Talk about all the good points for a workout thread, not that it should be allowed bc everything already sucks. You're undermining your own point.
