The point of the commercial wasn't helping them throw better
It was the "like a girl" is seen as an insult. Which, I admit, if you are a guy and you are told that, yep.

Who says that to a girl?
Its only an insult to a guy, which should have zero effect on a girls self esteem
Because if they dont recognize that guys can run faster and throw harder, then self esteem is the least of their worries
