Yea typo it was 13 I believe. Still, a pleasant surprise.

The analysts today were saying this might have been the biggest talent gap ever in this bball rivalry because of all the injuries.

Was it you that started a thread not too long ago about the fall of Izzo or something about how they're just not good anymore?

Who were these three walk-ons that Michigan started?

Zak Irvin? No. Aubrey Dawkins? No. Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman? No. Spike Albrecht? No. Ricky Doyle? No.

I was just repeating what digger Phelps and Doug Gottleib were saying.

And now the inexplicable downvotes. I have no idea why I come to this board if all I get is the same shite thrown at me by you people.

Wow, I haven't been paying attention since LeVert went down and had no idea Walton was hurt. Great job by Beilein for making these guys respectable with all of the early departures, Horford transfer, and injuries.

Is it that suprising? It's a big rivalry game. Of course either team can win it.

But I guess Michigan is all about moral victories now in all sports huh? Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Dude. Best big man graduates, OK they should deal with that. Stauskas and GRIII leave early, that's a problem. McGary gets suspended and leaves early. Frick. Then, Horford out of nowhere transfers. Debacle. Then, they lose their two best players to injury and are still competing with decent squads like MSU. That is a hell of a job.

That doesn't really apply to basketball.

What the hell? Michigan won the big ten last year (no tie, elite 8, and got to the championship game two years ago. Michigan has won more games the past three years in basketball than every team but like three.

Michigan isn't making the tournament. That's what happens when you lose 4 of your best players to the NBA, and the two best players on this year's team are out for the year, and when you can't recruit.

My point is that nobody expected them to play nearly as well they are currently playing. If Michigan went into the year with their current lineup, they would have been a unanimous pick to be dead last in the big ten.

Yeah, I will say Beilein has done a solid job despite those issues. Although, I didn't expect that much from either team going in to this year, though
