Do you have multiple groups of friends, and the groups never seem to meet?

I have about 20 good friends and 4 of which I consider my best friends. They are split up into 3 groups, though, from various stages of my life. They are all very different, too. I sometimes drive myself crazy trying to either see all of them each month or trying to bring them all together. Who else has this issue?

I have a couple groups of close friends, but they don't get along really well, so I don't mix them.

When I lived in BR I did. It was always weird when they got together even though they got along.

High school, college, and law school. They're different cats and I don't like having them together. Even within those groups, there are ones where I only hang out with the guys, while others always have to be doing a couples thing.

No you don't. You think you do but you don't. Unless your a teenager with only school and no job, no one can juggle that many ppl. You might have 4 friends that your close to but that's about it. The others are just ppl you know.
The older you get the less friends you will have. Its just the way life is, you don't have time to build the relationship and become real friends when you get older.

3 groups of friends here. They never co-mingle and its pretty tough staying in touch with everyone.

Yeah. Can be awkward and annoying at times but ya just make do. Realized me worrying about them all the time isn't worth it. Whatever happens happens and things tend to work out. Real friends will be there no matter what.

Really don't post there anymore but I have met a bunch of them, and had a couple crash at my place

Good god I've tried mixing (real friends, not friendly associates)friends before and it's been disastrous. When I'm friends with someone, im usually friends with just one of them in their group so thats always a weird. And my friends are so different and all awful in their own ways that it's been an issue. Mixing filthy rich and dirt poor, intelligent and dumb, sophisticated and hick. Like when I've tried to mix them before, such epic disagreements about where to go to a bar.

i have 3 groups of friends. my childhood friends, then college friends. They all get along fine, i dont hangout with douches or assholes. the 3rd group hasnt interacted much with the other groups yet
