I've done a lot of mardi gras for the last 10 years.

While I won't rank them in order, I will say New Orleans is not even close to the best.

C'mon man!?! New Orleans not even close to the best when it comes to Mardi Gras?!?! Please tell me where else thousands and thousands of tourists are going for Mardi Gras?

Agreed and probably isn't even in the top 5. If we throw in Venezuela and Brazil, New Orleans would be like going to a small town fair versus going to Walt Disney World. If you ever get the chance, go to one of those two and you'll see what real carnival is like. It's insane.
