Our WR's had a heavy case of the drops last season. The optimist in me thinks that they just weren't accustomed to getting the football.

i don't remember that so much outside the Alabama game.

They need to get stronger to get off of press.

Our WRs were very weak last year. Our top three were:

Dural - fairly good, but as the year wore on teams learned they could bully him.

Dupre - Has a lot of potential, but was not ready for prime time.

Quinn - dropped key passes at important times.

Poor QB play masked this deficiency last year, but we were nowhere near championship level at WR.

So you've analyzed the playbook and dissected/critiqued the routes that each receiver has run? How about the targets-drops?

lol

You really think that whoever wrote the article at ESPN did that?

Really? This group will be one of the best. They need chemistry with the QB. When the QB stares down his wr the defense keys in on that and loads up.
They had no confidence in him.
Yes they need to catch the ball but with few pass attempts one or two drops are magnified.
The best pass play was to diarse over the middle which was almost over thrown, other then that it was probably the best executed pass play he made.
