This is the main reason why the college product is shite. It is almost unwatchable when your team isnt playing. People want to see the gifted athletes make plays. We dont watch to see hard worker Johnny hold the ball for 28 seconds, then dribble a little and shoot

That's not what teams like Princeton or Utah State do, though. Or even swing offenses like Wisconsin or Virginia. Good slow tempo offenses move the ball around and all 5 players are in constant motion.

I have no connection or relation to Utah State but one year(around 2003-ish?) I watched one of their NCAA tournament games against the Kansas team that lost to Syracuse in the final that year. They were huge underdogs but their coach is an offensive genius and they only lost by 3. Their offensive philosphy was a total thing of beauty and I became a bandwagon Utah State fan after that. Shame their coach is retiring after this year.
