Canada gets by just fine without them, as stated, just round up/down to the nearest multiple of 5.

Get rid of the dollar bill while we're at it.

I use cash/coin maybe 3-4 times a year. And usually it's for something that should easily be done via credit card/mobile device like a vending machine.

Cash needs to go the way of the paper check.
