So you haven't been since they built the Boeing Center? That place is insane... actual WWII aircraft all over the ceiling.

The last time I went was probably 10 years ago? It was still called DDay. I do recall planes on the ceiling, but only 1 or 2, and seems like they were just starting to hang them.

My favorite part was the floor where they had every single weapon used by the Allies and Axis on display, with a note on each of name and use. I was mesmerized. Is that still there? Is that 4D movie any good?

OK, it's Peche's or Cochon, I'll show her both and let her decide.

I don't know...we're not big brussel sprout eaters. Do they melt cheese on them?

The ones on the wall behind glass? Those were still there the last time I went through that part of the museum.

When you first walk into the Road To Berlin exhibit they have a wall of weapons... so I'm not sure if some of those were moved from the old spot. I did notice a few things that used to be in another part of the museum that had been moved to the new RtB exhibit so I'm not sure what changes have been made to the older part.

I watched it on my first visit a long time ago and remember enjoying it. I haven't watched it again b/c I spend all my time walking through the exhibits now. If you haven't seen it then it's worth checking out.

Try to get a show time somewhere in the middle of your visit to the museum... gives you a break from walking for a little while.

Yeah, but how have you had them?

They're fantastic. Usually chili spiced and flash fried. You'll have a hard time not licking the plate, trust me. BRANCH OUT!

Good idea. So maybe right when we get there, go get a ticket for later movie, before we start walking through?

Or you can buy them on the website if you know about what time you'll be there. I think they show it every hour on the hour.

There is so much to take in though... kind of hard to get bored. Plus there are all kinds of interactive things to do: the USS Tang exhibit is a hands-on interactive thing, the new Road to Berlin has an interactive portion throughout where you follow the story of a particular service member that you can pick out at the beginning.

Also, on the weekends there are usually some WWII vets there. You can talk to them and get their first hand account of the war.

There was one guy that was a paratrooper and jumped during the D-Day invasion. He ended up in some cemetery in France separated from the rest of his unit. I was asking the greeter about him last weekend and he recently passed away at the age of 94.

So happy about my career life right now.

Leaving a company on good terms is definitely worth it. Training my replacement for a few days next week (it is my last week here), and then I was told I can have the rest of the week off WITH PAY as a goodbye gift.
