after talking to a few flight crew folks in airports, I bought a travelpro and have no regrets at all...it has been with me since the late '90s and has been through hell and I have not had one single problem with it...

fwiw, the two things to look out for are quality wheels and quality zippers....wheels need to have good ball bearings and be damn near indestructible....

also make sure it is made such that it can be drug over curbs thousands of times without picking it up off the ground without being damaged...
