. If anyone else in your hood has something that isn't brick its pretty much null and void. Build away. I'm building a storage shed to store things exactly like you just mentioned so that I don't have to have that shite in my work shop.

Another sweet tree that I always thought was trash is Hackberry - the sap wood. Haven't sawed any yet, but saw some nice pictures of it. I will be sawing some soon.

I actually did a trade with a guy for a 200 lb rock and $300, so i feel like i did pretty good on that. like this...

Well, I got the front of the vanity done. Done the old school way. SIL was suppose to bring me a joiner, didn't happen. So, 1/4" wood pegs, after I made a template.
From there, I had put everything together.
Once that was done, I framed up the base.

My truck is in the shop and I needed a sheet of 1/2" plywood to cover the base, a side wall in between the draws and the draws. I hope I can get that tomorrow. The sides will be covered with 1/4" luan that I have on hand.

I built this outdoor sectional for my patio because buying one was ridiculously overpriced. Even made the cushions.

Thank y'all. The cushions I made with some thin plywood and some foam then covered with fabric and stapled the fabric to the back. Only negative is they aren't waterproof so I have to pick them up before it rains. I've redone them since by cutting up cheap bedsheets because it's cheaper than buying fabric.

Well, I been playing with wood from the age of 8 building my first pirogue and I'm 58. One learns to over come just about any problem there is. Some times, one just needs to step back and think how they did things 300 years ago. Besides that, these days we have the internet.
